'Host' is the scariest movie of all time, according to science

Last year it was Sinister that won the 2020 scariest movie of all time.

Well, this year it has been beaten out by Host. Host is about six friends who accidentally invite the attention of an online demonic presence during a seance. Sinister still came in 2nd place though and Conjuring in 3rd.

The “Science of Scare” study ranks the scariest movies in existence based on what gets audiences heart’s pumping. Host was one of seven new entries to the top 25 scientifically scariest movies list, with John Krasinky’s A Quiet Place Part 2, Blumhouse’s The Invisible Man and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, and Jordan Peele and Nia DaCosta’s Candyman all securing spots on the list.
