Scholar Athlete of the Week: Ethan Hamlin and Sylvie Goldblatt

High school sports are back in action, and we're highlighting those doing amazing things both on and off the field. Here's this week's Beluga Air Scholar Athlete of the Week.

Ethan Hamlin is the captain of the Reagan High School football team, but his true passion lies in wrestling. He says the sport makes him feel powerful, brave, and accomplished, win or lose. With dreams of serving in the Army or becoming a firefighter (or maybe both!), Ethan is a shining example of leadership and determination.

Sylvie Goldblatt brings energy and excellence to the Brandeis High School Dance Team. She dances not just for herself, but for those who look up to her. Her team has earned four national titles, and Sylvie’s dedication is a big reason why. With a 102 GPA, a role in student council, and a commitment to volunteering, Sylvie proves that it’s never too late to pursue what you love, and to inspire others along the way.

These two students remind us that being a scholar athlete means more than just talent, it’s about heart, hustle, and making a difference.
