SAN ANTONIO — It’s a cool summer at La Panadería Bakery Café, thanks to their bold new cold foam lattes—inspired by your favorite desserts! Owner David Cáceres stopped by to share how these refreshing creations are making waves across San Antonio.
La Panadería Bakery Café opened in 2014 as a way for brothers José and David Cáceres to share their Mexican heritage and love for baking with the San Antonio community (their adopted hometown, according to their website.)
The panadería has since expanded to four locations across the Alamo City including Alamo Heights, Downtown, La Cantera, and Midtown.
New latte flavors include the Ferrero Rocher Cold Foam Latte, a perfect blend of chocolate and hazelnut, topped with a house-made Ferrero Rocher cold foam and the Pistachio Cold Foam Latte— made with Pistachio Cold Foam and finished with a honey drizzle and pistachio praline crumble.
La Panadería suggests pairing the Ferrero Rocher latte with their Ferrero Rocher concha and the Dubai Chocolate concha with the pistachio latte.
The tres leches latte is permanent while the other two flavors are available for a limited-time during the summer as of now, but that could change depending on how well they do.
