Grab your boots and loosen that belt, the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo BBQ Cook Off is firing up the pits, competition, and some serious Texas-sized flavor! Corderro was live at the Frost Bank Center checking out all the pitmaster excellence.

He spoke with Erin Sanchez about the excitement behind the event! They have 334 teams ready to cook for visitors! They have a large variety of competitions, from international to children.

The money raised from the event goes to funding for youth in agriculture scholarships.

Luis Rivas from Mexico is one of the competitors and he says "patience and consistency" is the most important thing! Failing is normal but keeping it up is most important to keep improving.
