MARBLE FALLS, Texas - Southern Living has now named Blue Bonnet Cafe one of the South's most legendary restaurants.
Since 1929, Blue Bonnet Cafe has been a stop for locals to dine on comfort food, homemade soups, and their world-famous pies.
Not far from the Colorado River, the cafe boasts a family-friendly atmosphere and a local hub for all-day breakfast.
Of course, Southern Living was able to this well-respected classic on the list sitting as the first restaurant within the article.
"But they’re not the only ones who have stuck around, as some staff members have been with them for decades. Stop in for the all-day breakfast or one of the daily specials like chicken and dumplings or meatloaf—but you’re really here for the pie, wrote Chelsea Brasted with Southern Living."
Blue Bonnet Cafe is open Monday to Saturday 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.
