Ultimate fan will open 'Star Wars' themed restaurant in Boerne

SAN ANTONIO – May the 4th be with you as you celebrate Star Wars Day. Many fans celebrate Star Wars Day by rewatching their favorite Star Wars film and dressing up as their favorite characters, but one local resident is going to make a whole living off being the ultimate fan.

Michael Hawes of Spring Branch will be opening a restaurant in Boerne called the Darkside Brick Oven Pizza Co. and will be showcasing his collection of Star Wars memorabilia.

The restaurant is the ultimate Star Wars fan’s dream as it will feature R2-D2, C-3PO, Chewbacca, Darth Vader, and many more.

Not only will fans get the feel as if they are in the film themselves. The restaurant will have a 70s and 80s theme and will have a DeLorean replica inside.

The restaurant is set to open in the fall.
