Breaking Barriers: Women in policing

Today we're highlighting the remarkable women who are breaking barriers in law enforcement. Alondra suited up and joined the San Antonio Police Department's Women in Policing event to take on their challenging obstacle course and see what it really takes to serve and protect.

Alondra spoke with Officer Anya Rigoni about what motivated her to become an officer and how events like this are inspiring the next generation of women in uniform.

Participants in the Women in Policing event will work together to find clues and solve a simulated case. The event is designed to show that anyone, regardless of size, gender, or background, can pursue a career in law enforcement. It’s not just about physical strength, but teamwork, critical thinking, and heart.
