SAN ANTONIO - Your weekend has a great mix of festivals, music, and sports.

Festivals & Holiday Kickoffs

Wurstfestis one of the biggest and most popular festivals in the region, and this weekend is your last chance to attend. It's a 10-day annual festival celebrating German culture, especially Bavarian-style food, music, and of course, beer. It's often described as a "Salute to Sausage" (Wurst is German for sausage). It runs through the weekend, closing on Sunday, November 16, 2025. Learn more...

Highlights:

  • Entertainment: Enjoy Alpine and Bavarian-style music and performances across multiple stages.
  • Food & Drink: Feast on traditional German and Texas cuisine, including all kinds of sausage, potato pancakes, strudel, and a huge selection of imported and local beers.
  • Activities: There are carnival rides, games, and vendor markets.
  • Location: The festival is held in New Braunfels, TX at the Wurstfest Grounds in Landa Park, which is a short drive north of San Antonio.

Since the festival is closing this weekend, it's a very popular time to visit, so expect a crowd!

Zoo Lights: The start of the annual holiday light extravaganza at the zoo. Recurring daily, starting this weekend (November 15) at the San Antonio Zoo.

Brack Bash: A celebration of Brackenridge Park's history with live music, food trucks, a vintage car show, and family-friendly activities. Saturday, November 15 (Noon - 4 p.m.) at the Sunken Garden Theater.

Concerts & Shows

  • Miguel Bosé: A concert by the Spanish pop icon. Saturday, November 15 at Freeman Coliseum.
  • 1964 The Tribute: A tribute concert to The Beatles. Saturday, November 15 at the Charline McCombs Empire Theatre.
  • Brian Culbertson: A performance by the contemporary jazz musician on his Day Trip Tour. Sunday, November 16 at the Majestic Theatre San Antonio.

  • Sacramento Kings at San Antonio Spurs: Sunday, November 16 at the Frost Bank Center.
  • Southeastern Louisiana Lions at Incarnate Word Cardinals: Saturday, November 15 (2:00 p.m.) at the Gayle and Tom Benson Stadium.

San Antonio Tattoo Arts Festival: A three-day event featuring top local, national, and international tattoo artists, live ink sessions, competitions, seminars, and a vendor market. All weekend (Friday through Sunday) at the Freeman Expo Hall C.

The Sixties Show: The Greatest 1960's Music Re-Creation. A full multi-media theatrical concert experience featuring former band members of rock legends, complete with 60s attire, narration, newsreel footage, and a light show. Sunday, November 16 at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts.

The Ultimate Tribute to Journey & Styx (Majesty of Rock): What: A tribute concert featuring the music of Journey and Styx. Sunday, November 16 at the Charline McCombs Empire Theatre.

D.L. Hughley: Stand-up comedy performances by the celebrated comedian and actor. Performances all weekend (Friday through Sunday) at the Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club.

Candlelight: Tribute to Taylor Swift: A unique musical experience where a string quartet performs Taylor Swift's hits, surrounded by hundreds of candles. Saturday, November 15 at The Josephine Theatre
