Chicano sensation Cuco returns to San Antonio with a mix of 80's synth-pop and trippy pop

SAN ANTONIO- Chicano singer-songwriter Cuco is coming back to San Antonio.

Cuco brings his expanded sound influenced by 80's synth-pop, trippy pop, and cumbia. He was last here in San Antonio back in 2019 for one of the hottest shows of that year.

Don't miss Cuco's return! He will be performing at the Boeing Center at Tech Point Monday, October 30th. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.

Cuco (born Omar Banos on June 26, 1998) is a Mexican American singer-songwriter and record producer from Hawthorne, California. He is known for his dreamy bedroom pop sound, which combines elements of Latin music, hip hop, and R&B. His music has been praised for its relatability and vulnerability, and he has quickly become a popular figure among young people.

Cuco began his music career in 2016, self-releasing his debut EP, Wannabewithu. His music quickly gained popularity online, and he was soon signed to Interscope Records. In 2019, he released his debut studio album, Para Mi, which was a critical and commercial success.

Cuco has toured extensively throughout the United States and Mexico, and he has performed at major festivals such as Coachella and Lollapalooza. He has also collaborated with artists such as Clairo, Polyphia, and Kenny G.
