Nicole Brown shares expert tips to help you create stunning seasonal arrangements at home. Autumn is in bloom, and our queen of florals, Nicole Brown with Nicole’s Floral Boutique and Events, is here helping us DIY some beautiful fall arrangements.
Nicole’s tips make it easy for beginners to get started:
Foliage First: Fall arrangements thrive on texture. Foliage not only adds depth but also lasts longer than many seasonal blooms.
Start Small: If you’re new to floral design, begin with a shorter vase. It’s easier to manage and helps build confidence.
Tape Grid Trick: Create a grid over the top of your vase using clear tape. This keeps stems in place and gives structure to your design.
Build with Intention: Begin with larger florals, placing them in a crisscross pattern to create form and shape.
Finish with Fillers: Add smaller filler flowers last to bring everything together and fill in any gaps.
With Nicole’s guidance, your fall centerpiece will be festive, fresh, and full of personality.
