Explore the quirky, epic & unexpected wonders of San Antonio, TX with Amazing America TV

Hey America, I'm Travel Creator Hunter Hulbert and I have some exciting news. Amazing America TV is launching the second episode of our new series, Amazing Itineraries - where I head off the beaten path in search of the city’s craziest and most colorful attractions and experiences—along with a handful of unmissable touristy-yet-tasteful stops. And I begin my journey on three wheels instead of four because...well...when in San Antonio.

Sure, San Antonio is known for iconic historical sights and, of course, that famous River Walk, but did you know there’s a subterranean world full of colossal formations and pristine pools that awaits nearby? Or, maybe you prefer to step into art experience where you can go from a kaleidoscopic ball pit, into a trippy matrix of lights, then onto a cosmic trampoline?

Move over, The Alamo. It’s time to explore a side of San Antonio you’ve probably never seen.

San Antonio is a city defined by inventive people who are not afraid to have fun, and I wanted to showcase that from the first moment we begin the itinerary. As you’ll see, the way we got around town was the perfect tone-setter for an unforgettable trip.

Spoiler alert: Despite not making a visit to The Alamo, I experienced a fair share of history as well, including a UNESCO World Heritage Site and crumbling ruins that I'm 99.9% sure are cursed. It turns out San Antonio has a lot of surprises up its sleeve—even for a well-versed traveler.

That’s the awesome part of this show; there are layers of secrets and surprises that are waiting to be uncovered and discovered in every single city I visit. While it’s fun to show off on social media, I always say this: "Go and experience these things for yourself. You have to see it to believe it."

I am hitting up Reno, NV next, and you don't want to miss that. Subscribe to Amazing America TV on YouTube, and follow us onFacebook,Instagram andTikTok @amazingamericatv for all the behind-the-scenes shenanigans.
