Film Flickers: From Dystopian Thrills to Unbelievable True Crime

This weekend, we’re diving into two gripping new releases, one based on a chilling Stephen King novel, and the other on a jaw-dropping true story.
FIRST UP: A highly anticipated dystopian horror film is out today, The Long Walk.
From the highly anticipated adaptation of master storyteller Stephen King’s first-written novel comes The Long Walk, an intense, chilling, and emotional thriller. In a future where a brutal annual contest forces teenage boys to walk without stopping, or be shot, the film explores themes of survival, sacrifice, and the cost of obedience.
As the boys push their limits, the story challenges audiences to confront a haunting question: How far could you go?
The Long Walk is in theaters today!
UP NEXT... A film based on an unbelievable true story, coming this October, here’s a first look at Roofman.
Starring Channing Tatum and Kirsten Dunst, Roofman tells the wild true story of Jeffrey Manchester, a former Army Ranger and struggling father who turns to robbing McDonald’s restaurants by cutting holes in their roofs, earning him the nickname “Roofman.”
After escaping prison, Manchester secretly lives inside a Toys “R” Us for six months, completely undetected. But when he falls for a divorced mom, his double life begins to unravel in unexpected ways.
Roofman is in theaters on October 10th!
