Go to the zoo and get Kiddie Park rides for FREE

SAN ANTONIO – If you go to the zoo in September on a weekday, all the Kiddie Park rides are free (for kids ages 1-12).

Kiddie Park is the nation's oldest children's amusement park - with rides like the famous hand-carved Herschell Spillman carousel, boats, and even an old-fashioned Ferris Wheel.

"Kiddie Park has been a San Antonio gem for nearly 100 years," said Tim Morrow from the San Antonio Zoo. "This is a great opportunity for the whole family to come out and enjoy the zoo and free rides!"

Kiddie Park's prior location was near the corner of Broadway and East Mulberry Avenue, but the ever-growing area caused challenges with parking and expansion. During the Summer of 2019, San Antonio Zoo saved the historic park from closure and moved it to zoo grounds.

Kiddie Park is also available for birthday parties, and you can even reserve the entire theme park for special occasions. CLICK HERE to learn more...
