Tips to keep your pets safe this holiday season

The holidays bring magic, memories, and excitement, even for our pets. Dr. Nichole D'Intino, a lead veterinarian at CityVet, with some do's and don'ts when it comes to keeping our pets safe this season.

When it comes to food, avoid fatty foods, chocolate, grapes, onions, and garlic. To avoid food-related emergencies, make sure your rowdy or pushy pets are put in a different room or their cage.

If your pets tend to panic there are wonderful calming products. Start them a few days before so you know they work and your pet likes them.

If your cat is always causing trouble in your tree, make sure your tree is stable, doesn't have tinsel, and if necessary in a room that your cat cannot reach.
