Meet the BBQ World Champion who continues to put Texas flavor on the map

Everyone has a favorite pitmaster, but there can only be one World BBQ Champion. Al Lino from Rio Hondo earned the title of World Barbecue Champion at the World Food Championship. And this isn’t his first win either.

After three days of smoking and grilling, Al wowed the judges with a bold creation: pulled pork served on a sweet concha. He paired it with crisp coleslaw and a tangy chamoy BBQ sauce that tied the flavors together perfectly.
