Rapid Fire: Holiday hosting and flirting at Target
#TooLong
According to a new survey of 2,000 Americans, most people are happy to host guests for up to six days. Any longer than that, and you're officially overstaying your welcome. Interestingly, parents say their adult kids get a longer grace period. Still, 33% of people admit they’ll start “dropping hints” when it’s time to go, and 22% say they’ll just come out and say it. So... how long is too long for you?
#Flirt
If you're shopping at Target this holiday season and an employee seems unusually friendly, don’t read too much into it. It’s probably not flirting, it’s policy. Target has rolled out a “10-4” program, encouraging staff to engage with shoppers more intentionally. Within 10 feet? Smile and acknowledge. Within 4 feet? Ask if they need help or offer a friendly greeting. It’s all part of making the shopping experience feel more personal.
#DidntSeeThatComing
Kim Kardashian is calling out her psychics after failing the bar exam. In a TikTok recap of Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday bash, Kim vented that multiple psychics told her she’d pass. Spoiler: she didn’t. Maybe next time, less crystal ball, more study time?
