San Antonio ranks in top 100 for naked biking, event scheduled this weekend

SAN ANTONIO - Four Texas cities make the top 100 list of best cities for naked biking, according to a new study.

Clothing-optional bike trends have become increasingly popular across the country. According to a report published by LawnStarter, four Texas metropolitans have ranked within the top 100 for best cities for naked biking.

Austin ranked the highest at #9, with Houston at #13, Dallas at #81, and San Antonio at #87. The study used five categories for their research; naked biking popularity, cyclist-friendliness, nudist-friendliness, climate, and safety.

Experts say those interested in experiencing naked biking should have a plan, know the local laws, and make sure they have an up-to-date bike with working lights and a repair kit.

A naked bike ride is scheduled in San Antonio this upcoming Saturday, June 15.
