High school sports are back in action, and we're highlighting those doing amazing things both on and off the field. Here's this week's Beluga Air Scholar Athlete of the Week.
Alexis McKnight of Judson High School is all about working hard. She's been doing volleyball since 7th grade and she's been on the varsity team all four years. She also has a 97 GPA and she won't let herself fall below her straight A record. She also cleans cemeteries and parks in her free time, and she wants to become a forensic scientist.
Karson Hunt of Steele High School is a golfer that's scoring around an 80, but his GPA is 107. He wants to be the best version of himself he can be and that fuels him to continue improving himself. He's a car guy and he loves learning about them when he has time.
Both Alexis and Karson are showing what it means to lead with discipline, passion, and purpose. Whether it's on the court, the course, or in the classroom, they're setting the bar high for what student-athletes can achieve.
