The newly created United Football League has released the San Antonio Brahmas' schedule for the upcoming season.

The Brahmas kick off the season on March 31 against the D.C. Defenders at the Alamodome.

The XFL and USFL merged in the offseason to form the United Football League (UFL). Former Dallas Cowboys coach Wade Phillips takes over for Hines Ward as coach of the Brahmas this season.

“There’s a passionate football fan base in San Antonio and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back to The Alamodome for a new era of Brahmas football,” said San Antonio Brahmas head coach Wade Phillips. “Our plan is to have an exciting style of football on offense and defense and put a product on the field that the city will be proud of and support.”

Each team will play six in-conference games and four inter-conference matchups. The Brahmas went 3–7 during their inaugural season and missed the playoffs.

The League is divided into two conferences: USFL (Birmingham Stallions, Houston Roughnecks, Memphis Showboats, Michigan Panthers) and XFL (Arlington Renegades, D.C. Defenders, San Antonio Brahmas, St. Louis Battlehawks).

UTSA's Corey Mayfield Jr. (DB) and LB Trevor Harmanson are both on the San Antonio roster, as well as a couple of UIW guys on this year's protected roster too, including running back Marcus Cooper and Micahh Smith, a defensive back.

The other Brahmas home games include games against the St. Louis Battlehawks (Apr. 14), Michigan Panthers (20), Arlington Renegades (May 19) and the Birmingham Stallions (May 25).

Season tickets are now on sale, while single game tickets go on sale Feb. 22.
