Wrap Outside the Box with These Creative Ideas
We're thinking outside the box today, and Julie Healy with Roy Maas Youth Alternatives was here to help us get creative by showing us how to wrap with everyday items we already have at home.
You're already spending plenty on buying gifts for everyone in your family, so save a bit on the wrapping! You can use butcher paper and cheep ribbon to create a beautifully wrapped gift. Making your own bows at home can also save you money. Julie showed us how she makes a simple looping ribbon.
She also gave some suggestions to get the family involved! Have your children draw on the butcher paper to create cute decorated wrapping paper with just a few extra markers.
Roy Maas Youth Alternatives houses kids who have been taken out of their homes and they have events coming up to bring joy and love. Their Wrapping with Roy event is a great time to come together and wrap hundreds of gifts for the kids under their care.
