Sebastien Derbomez, Brand Advocacy Manager for William Grant & Sons, is celebrating National Rum Day(Sunday) by demonstrating two simple and delicious cocktails, the Pineapple Daiquiri and Highball of Duty.
-1part Flor De Caña 12 Year Old
-1part Fresh Lime Juice
- 3/4 part Simple Syrup
-3 pineapple chunks (caramelized optional)
-Garnish: Pineapple wedge
*Method: Add pineapple chunks and muddle gently. Add the remaining ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe.
Highball of Duty
-1 1/2 parts Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum
- 1/2 part Pineapple Juice
-Top with Ginger Ale
-Garnish with Lime Wedge
*Method: Add Sailor Jerry and pineapple juice in a glass with ice and top with ginger ale.
