The Dirtiest Fruits and Veggies

Strawberries once again topped the environmental working group's "Dirty Dozen" fruits and vegetables list with the highest levels of pesticide residues. Avocados came in 2nd on that list for 2021, followed by sweet corn and pineapple. The list by the non-profit group is based on samples from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Food and Drug Administration.
