If you're looking for ways to help in this time of need, the San Antonio Food Bank has just launched its Coronavirus Preparedness Kits for Low-Income Households. Each kit will include a 14-day supply of non-perishable food items including canned vegetables, fruit, beans, rice and soups, as well as hand sanitizer, cleaning supplies, diapers and pet food. Each kit costs about $5.
The food bank is now accepting online donations, with every $5 donation going toward a corona preparedness kit. Head to your local food bank for more information.
