BUD LIGHT RIVER WALK VIRTUAL 5K RUN/WALKS - New Series Will Offer The Opportunity to Run or Walk the River From Anywhere
Turn neighborhood trails or indoor treadmills into an exciting adventure on the San Antonio River Walk. Sign up is now open for Bud Light River Walk Virtual 5k Run/Walks. This brand-new event offers a great way to stay active, plus an opportunity to enjoy this one-of-a-kind river attraction from right here in San Antonio, or anywhere in the world!
Sign up for the 5K by becoming a member of the Friends of the River Walk. Pay a $35 registration fee (waived with $50 fundraiser minimum*). Register for a race. Choose a location: virtual or in-person at River Level of the Shops at Rivercenter in San Antonio. Download and print a race bib. Then enjoy the River Walk 5k either in-person or from any location, in any city, state, or country. Earn an official River Walk t-shirt or cap by taking a selfie with a bib and then post on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtags #BudLightVirtual5K, #SARiverWalk, and #SilverEagleBeverages.
This is a LIMITED registration event with only 1,000 spots available. Registrants can participate in the virtual 5k Run/Walks multiple times. This is a donation, therefore it is nonrefundable. Runners will be able to submit results through text, email, or the runsignup.com event page link below.
All proceeds go to support The San Antonio River Walk Association (SARWA) and Friends of the River Walk; nonprofits impacted by the downturn of the tourism industry due to COVID-19, and whose missions are to promote, preserve, and protect the San Antonio River Walk.
