Sinclair Cares: How to help Texans impacted by historic winter storm

SAN ANTONIO - The winter storm may be over now, but many of our friends and neighbors need help! That's where you come in.

We're partnering with The Salvation Army to raise money for people of Texas impacted by sub-freezing temperatures, ice and snow, and lengthy power and water outages.

The Salvation Army is offering its facilities as respite centers for warmth, feeding, and shelter for those facing homelessness and for those in need.

They're also accepting monetary donations. The money collected will help folks with things like hotel rooms and assistance with electric bills, as well as necessities like:

• Food
• Bottled Water
• Hygiene products
• Laundry detergent
• Toilet paper
• Cleaning products
